Before using NexoPOS 4.x either for sale or for creating products, you'll need to create taxes. These taxes need to be assigned to a tax group that needs to be created before. You'll learn here how to create taxes on NexoPOS 4.x.

How To Create Taxes

Same as the tax groups, taxes are available under a menu named "Taxes". You can therefore access it from the dashboard and clicking "Create Tax".

You'll head to a section where you can provide :

  • The tax name
  • The assigned parent
  • Provide a rate (from 1 to 100)
  • A description

Once you're done, you can click on "Save" and you'll be redirected to the list of taxes on an abstract table component, where you can manage them.

Managing Taxes

As a tax group might contain unlimited taxes, you're responsible for making sure all taxes combined doesn't exceed 100%, to avoid undesired wrong calculation.

All taxes are computed while creating a product or while placing an order. Changing a tax rate won't, therefore, affect all the products and sales that have been previously created or placed.
