NexoPOS 6.2 is now available. This release introduces important improvements for the NexoPOS ecosystem, starting with v6.2.0 and continuing with v6.2.1, which completes the update with interface, receipt, media, and POS improvements.
NexoPOS 6.2.0 Highlights
NexoPOS 6.2.0 focuses on making the ecosystem easier to use from inside the application. The update introduces the official marketplace directly in NexoPOS and adds the Barcode Utility companion app for everyday store operations.
- Official Marketplace Embedded: users can access the marketplace from the app to discover, download, and install NexoPOS modules more easily.
- Barcode Utility App: a companion app designed to help stores use phones as barcode readers, create products by scanning supported barcodes, and perform stock control tasks.
- Customer and permission updates: the release includes customer role assignment improvements, customer data handling updates, translation work, POS customer owed amount fixes, permission cleanup, and the Recommendation Service.
NexoPOS 6.2.1 Completes The Release
NexoPOS 6.2.1 is a follow-up release that continues the integration work around my.nexopos.com and improves the first steps for users joining the NexoPOS ecosystem.
- New Media Library: the media manager now combines upload and asset browsing into one interface, with infinite scroll to make existing assets easier to explore.
- Receipt Toggle And Template Tags: new receipt options make it easier to control displayed information, with template tags such as
{order_date_only}and{order_time}. - New Administrator Widget: administrators now have a widget that helps them sync their installation with my.nexopos.com.
- POS and invoice fixes: v6.2.1 includes barcode scanning fixes, support for a configurable default barcode type, invoice template tag additions, and deprecated code refactoring.
Who Should Update
Users running NexoPOS 6.2.0 should move to v6.2.1 to benefit from the completed media library, new receipt template tags, administrator sync widget, and the latest POS barcode improvements. New installations should start directly with v6.2.1.
